Documentation for P-STAT Version 2.23, Acrobat Format

Updated documentation for new releases is installed with the P-STAT system. Use the command "HELP NEWS $" .

P-STAT documentation is available in 13 manuals plus a separate index. These manuals have been updated to reflect changes through Version 2.23 release 10.

You may download theses manuals from this web site and access them with the Acrobat reader which is free from Adobe Systems Incorporated (www.adobe.com).

All manuals have had minor updates and changes to make the indexing more consistent.

The use of Acrobat and .pdf files means that you can directly access the appropriate manual and page from the index or from the various tables of contents.

The documentation is stored in zip files which can be used with any decompression software which can read PKZIP formatted files. Once unzipped, the resulting pdf (ACROBAT) files can be moved to and read using the ACROBAT reader on any machine which has the ACROBAT reader installed. If you have only gunzip available, you may rename the files so that the extension is "gz" rather than "zip".

The procedure for obtaining the manuals is simple. Download the ones you want to the directory where they are to reside and unzip or PKUNZIP each module in turn to uncompress it.
